Joe Manganiello’s tattoo artist revealed the actor got new ink Tuesday in honor of his Armenian heritage.
“My latest work, so far largest in scale Հրեշտակ (Angel) for @joemanganiello who I am sure will wear it with pride!” Ruben Malayan wrote on Instagram alongside a pic of the “True Blood” alum showing off his tattoo.
In the snap, Manganiello held up his forearm, which showed the Armenian word for “angel” written in thick calligraphy-like writing.
The actor was accompanied by his pup, Bubbles, whom he got custody of amid his ongoing divorce from Sofía Vergara.
The estranged couple revealed to Pvnew in July that they “made the difficult decision” to separate after seven years of marriage.
A source told us the duo had “been growing apart for a while now” and took time apart to “contemplate their future.”
Two days later, the “Spider-Man” actor, 46, filed for divorce, citing the reason for the split due to “irreconcilable differences.”
The estranged couple, who wed in 2015, signed a prenuptial agreement allowing them to keep their separate assets earned throughout their marriage.
But documents previously obtained by Pvnew revealed the “Hot Pursuit” actress, 51, filed to keep “miscellaneous jewelry, artwork and other personal effects” on July 31.
She also filed to keep any earnings made before, during and after her separation from Manganiello.
While the Colombian actress and her ex have remained tight-lipped about the reason behind their split, a source told Pvnew their relationship fumbled due to them not seeing eye-to-eye on the topic of children.
The source continued that Manganiello wanted to be a dad while it appears Vergara has separate desires.
