No brows, no problem.
Austin Butler reunited with his “Dune: Part Two” co-stars on Thursday night’s episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” and along with some behind-the-scenes stories from the movie, he shared his thoughts on going eyebrow-less during the film.
The “Elvis” actor, 32 — who plays bald, browless villain Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen in the flick — joined Zendaya, 27, Florence Pugh, 28, and Timothée Chalamet, 28, to discuss their upcoming movie, and Kimmel couldn’t help but bring up Butler’s on-screen appearance during their interview.
“Austin, did you miss your eyebrows making this movie?” the 56-year-old late-night host asked as Zendaya let out a giggle.
“It was so liberating not having eyebrows,” Butler said with a completely deadpan expression, adding, “You don’t realize how much they weigh you down.”
“I was just streamlined,” he said.
When Kimmel asked if he’d “shaved the eyebrows,” the “once Upon a Time… in Hollywood” star explained that he couldn’t due to another film commitment.
“I was going to a job right after,” Butler said, sharing that director Jeff Nichols told him, “they can afford to make you a bald cap but we can’t really make you hair, so can you just get a bald cap?”
Butler certainly knows about committing to a role as his lingering Elvis Presley accent has been the topic of much discussion since the 2022 movie was released.
Eyebrows aside, the cast discussed their friendships, with Chalamet revealing that Zendaya helped him move into his first NYC apartment.
“The vibe was very, uh, teenage boy,” she said. “We just needed a few necessities.”
“It was literally Bed Bath and Beyond,” Chalamet said with a laugh, sharing that they hit the now-defunct store to grab his apartment essentials.
Perhaps they picked up a brow pencil for Butler while they were out shopping.
