Camille Grammer thinks her “Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip” Season 4 co-star Caroline Manzo has “gone too far” with her harassment claims against their castmate Brandi Glanville.
Last month, Manzo filed a lawsuit against the Bravo network, its streaming platform, Peacock, and other companies, alleging that Glanville sexually harassed her last year while they were filming the miniseries — which has yet to air and likely won’t in light of the scandal — in Morocco.
“We all think Caroline has gone too far with this lawsuit,” the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum, 55, recently commented beneath an All about the Real Housewives Instagram post.
“I wasn’t in the bathroom when the so called alleged event happened,” Grammer clarified before adding, “What I did see was the two ladies laughing and getting along.”
Manzo of “Real Housewives of New Jersey” fame claimed in her suit that Glanville — another “RHOBH” alum — forced herself on her and kissed her without consent during the vacation.
Glanville “proceeded to mount Manzo on the couch holding Manzo down with her body, forcibly squeezed Manzo’s cheeks together and thrust her tongue in Manzo’s mouth, while humping her,” Manzo’s complaint claimed, adding that the alleged incident triggered her “dormant and horrific memories” of being sexually assaulted as a child.
Manzo, 62, alleged that Glanville, 51, then followed her into the bathroom, where the latter “forced her vagina” against the former’s back.
Days later, the “RHONJ” OG flew home to the United States and claimed production filmed her all the way to the airport with the alleged hope of “gathering more ‘drama’ to increase their ratings.”
“Defendants, including Bravo, regularly ply the Real Housewives cast with alcohol, cause them to become severely intoxicated, and then direct, encourage and/or allow them to sexually harass other cast members because that is good for ratings,” her suit alleged.
“Caroline Manzo is a victim of those harmful actions.”
Glanville, for her part, has insisted that the complaint is littered with “defamatory, false accusations” about her.
“While filming, Brandi followed what the producers asked of her, and there was no sexual assault,” her rep told Pvnew in an exclusive statement.
“She is innocent of these absurd accusations that have weighed on her mental and physical health for far too long without a word of support from Peacock, Shed [Media] or Bravo.”
The spokesperson went on to refer to the allegations as “painful” and “endless” “storytelling,” adding that the former diamond-holder “is looking to move on and upward and get her life back.”
Bravo and Peacock have declined to comment on the lawsuit.
Meanwhile, both Glanville and Grammer have called on the NBCUniversal properties to air the season in question.
