Lori Harvey is ready to make a splash.

Following in the footsteps of big names like Christie Brinkley, Naomi Campbell, and Martha Stewart, the 27-year-old model is set to make her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue debut as a 2024 rookie.

Her shoot will be part of the magazine’s 60th anniversary issue, which will hit newsstands in May.

In the just-released teaser images, Harvey sported a purple halter bikini by Monica Hansen Beachwear with a chunky gold Mondo Mondo bangle, climbing out of the waters of Mexico, where her shoot took place.

To make the deal even sweeter, Harvey will model a bikini from her very own line of swimwear in the forthcoming spread.

On top of having her own skincare company, SKN by LH, the daughter of Steve Harvey launched her own swimsuit line, Yevrah, in August of last year.

Sold exclusively at Revolve, the pieces are eye-catching and include a mix of one-shoulder one-pieces, twisted tops, and more stunning styles.

In other shots, Harvey will switch up her suits, modeling options from Dolce & Gabbana, GCDS and more designer brands.

When speaking to SI Swim about this major career achievement, Harvey called the experience a “dream come true.”

“I would say the three words that I would use to describe it would be manifested, surreal and perfection because it was literally a moment that I manifested,” she said.

She added, “It was a very surreal moment for me, and the entire shoot was just perfection from top to bottom … [and] once I got on set, it was just magical.”

She also hopes that those looking at her photos will feel inspired.

“I hope my message and what I stand for about inclusion and body positivity and just being your own woman and going after your dreams and manifestation and prayer [is evident],” Harvey told the publication.

“All of that is real, and I hope they feel that and see that when they see my images,” she concluded.

SI Swim editor-in-chief MJ Day echoed the statement, saying that Harvey “embodies the essence of empowerment with her unwavering authenticity.”

The 2024 Swimsuit Issue comes at a difficult time for Sports Illustrated.

The publication recently laid off most of its staff after its parent company, Arena Group, missed a $3.75 million payment to its licensing company, Authentic Brands Group, resulting in a breach of contract and a termination of the deal.

Day wrote in the release, “We couldn’t be more excited to announce Lori as a rookie for the 60th anniversary issue contributing to the ongoing evolution of our brand as we continue to leave an indelible mark on the world of fashion and media. We remain unwavering in our commitment to delivering the milestone issue in May.”
