Kim Kardashian’s oldest child, North West, rocked a dramatic new ‘do in a video her famous mom shared on their joint TikTok account Tuesday, with the 10-year-old wearing her hair in two insanely long floor-length braids — and letting her mom jump-rope with them — while enoying another vacation in Japan.
In the clip, North and a pal swing one of her braids around like a jump rope as her mom skips over it, with the hair-raising TikTok — which they captioned “When your hair could be used as a jump rope” — displaying the text, “Rapunzel Rapunzel jump through my hair.”
North, 10, whom the Skims founder shares with ex-husband Kanye West, also shows off her pink braids in an Instagram Reel her mom posted Tuesday, with fans fearing for the tween’s safety.
North sports a navy kimono trimmed with pink floral accents as she walks through a minimalistic Japanese room in the clip, letting her two Rapunzel-length hot pink and black braids trail along the floor behind her.
“Look at these braids,” the Skims founder says as she films her daughter. Although the video cuts off at the end, she appears to be saying “you can jump” after calling the style “the double dutch braids!”
In another TikTok, North’s bestie holds her friend’s hair for her as they walk down a Tokyo street, while the celebrity kid wears it coiled around her neck in another clip as she wears the same striped rugby shirt her dad wore during an episode of “TRL” in 2004.
The “Gold Digger” rapper’s eldest child sports the orange-and-blue Ralph Lauren polo along with a pair of jeans as she sings and dances to her dad’s song “American Boy” with her mom and friends.
Many fans questioned the super-long style, like an Instagram user who commented, “shes definitely gonna trip at some point.”
“That is going to get filthy,” another added, while a third wrote, “Don’t trip and fall now.”
However, others were into the look, like one fan who commented, “I love how she allows her to express herself.”
“So good!” celebrity wedding planner Mindy Weiss added, while another commenter wrote, “Yasssss trendsetter Northie!”
North is known for her fun TikToks (which are managed by her mom), posting everything from sister makeover videos to one of herself transforming into her rapper dad.
