Like father, like daughter.
North West made a vintage fashion statement in Tokyo Tuesday when she wore an orange-and-blue striped polo shirt that’s nearly identical to the one her dad wore for an early aughts appearance on MTV’s “TRL” — giving the top a 2023 update with Rapunzel-length braids.
The 10-year-old, who is West’s eldest child with ex-wife Kim Kardashian, sports the Ralph Lauren shirt ($138) in a new TikTok with her mom and friends on their Japanese vacation, pairing it with a button-down underneath just like her dad did in 2004.
She styles the rugby shirt with a pair of cropped jeans and a long chain necklace in the clip, wearing her new floor-length braids pulled into an updo as she sings and dances to her dad’s duet with Estelle, “American Boy.”
Kardashian also joins in the fun, wearing a black crop top, leather pants and sneakers as she dances down a Japanese street.
This isn’t the first time North has emulated her dad’s style.
The tween stepped out in one of West’s old jackets at Paris Fashion Week in July 2022, wearing a bright blue style from Ye’s defunct streetwear label, Pastelle.
North and her mom have been documenting their trip to Tokyo on social media this week, with the Skims founder sharing a fun video of her daughter’s super-long pink-and-black braids in an Instagram Reel Tuesday.
In the clip, the eldest Kardashian-West child walks around in a blue kimono while her hair drags along the floor, with her proud mom exclaiming, “look at these braids!” and referring to them as “double dutch braids.”
Indeed, the braids were perfect for a game of skipping rope, as the mom of four proved in another TikTok where she actually jumped rope with North’s flowing hair.
