Lala Kent sent an unexpected message to Raquel Leviss during the Season 11 premiere of “Vanderpump Rules” on Tuesday.
“Hey Raquel, um, I’m sure I’m like the last person you expected to hear from, um, I hope that you’re doing OK,” Kent said as she spoke into her phone for the voice memo.
“Um, I don’t know if you’re back in LA or not, but I’d like to have a conversation with you at some point if you’re open to that, um, alright hope to talk to you soon,” she concluded.
Just seconds after sending the voice memo via an Instagram direct message, Kent noticed that Leviss had “seen” it.
“Oh my God, she saw it. I feel like I’m gonna throw up and s–t my pants at the same time,” Kent said.
It’s unclear if Leviss actually listened to the message, but Kent later told Pvnew that Leviss didn’t respond.
Kent –– who previously defended herself for being “mean” to Leviss both on social media and at the explosive Season 10 reunion following the reveal of Leviss’ affair with Tom Sandoval –– changed her tune about Leviss after relating Leviss’ situation to a similar one she experienced herself.
The “Give Them Lala” podcast host, 33, sent the note after pulling aside Lisa Vanderpump for a heart-to-hart chat during a group party at TomTom.
“I’m feeling a lot of different ways about this Raquel situation after like taking a step back,” Kent told Vanderpump.
Kent recalled a poignant moment from last season, where Leviss sat in a confessional and admitted to feeling like Sandoval was her “one person.” Leviss also said that she feared if she told the full story of their affair, she’d be cut off by him, too, and “really have nobody.”
After recalling that moment, Kent told Vanderpump, “What I can relate to is feeling isolated and feeling like the person who has made you feel like they’re the only one, and if you go against them, you have nothing.”
Kent was referring to breaking up with ex Randall Emmett –– with whom she shares daughter Ocean, 2 –– after he allegedly cheated and several other allegations surfaced.
“I know what it’s like to have a man in front of you painting a beautiful picture saying, ‘You’re the one for me, you’re my soulmate,’ and you see what your future could be with this person, and you’re willing to f–king risking it all so much so that I ignored everyone around me telling me, ‘Girl, you’re the other woman,'” Kent added in her own confessional this week.
When Kent began dating Emmett in 2015, he was still legally married to ex-wife, Ambyr Childers. At the time, Kent denied that they were having an affair and claimed Childers and Emmett were separated.
“The hardest part about that is that like all the names I was called –– me being labeled a homewrecking whore, like if you just lay it out there, they’re all true,” Kent said in her confessional while wiping away tears.
Kent started crying in front of Vanderpump, 63, while empathizing with Leviss, and Vanderpump suggested that Leviss could perhaps use “someone to talk to.”
“What Raquel did, what she said, how she went about things was so f–king stupid, but as someone who knows what it’s like to walk through life and see comments about being a mistress, I don’t want her to wear that forever,” Kent explained in her confessional.
The mom of one knew that her actions would have consequences, so during a girls’ night out a few nights later, Kent broke the news to Ariana Madix, telling her that she reached out to the woman who had an affair with her ex-boyfriend while they were together.
Madix looked both shocked and confused, especially since at the time of the night out, it had only been a few months since Leviss and Sandoval’s affair was exposed.
“It is kind of wild if you think about it, because for maybe a year, year-and-a-half, if anybody interacted with Lala’s ex, she was ready to like murder him and cut his balls off, ‘f–k you,'” Madix said in her confessional.

Madix, 38, argued that Leviss “knew better” than to hookup with Sandoval, but Kent doubled down that she “know[s] this feeling” of Leviss feeling isolated.
“For me, I worry that there are certain people in this world that look at those types of conversations as like a foot in the door, and there’s no foot to be had,” Madix told Kent.
Kent assured Madix that she’s still in her “corner,” and she had no intentions of making Madix “upset” which seemed to comfort Madix since they ended the scene with a hug.
Kent and Madix still appear to be close friends since Kent supported Madix at her Broadway debut on Monday night.
Meanwhile, Kent and Leviss never got to have an on-camera conversation, since Leviss confirmed in August 2023 that she was not returning to the hit Bravo series.
“Vanderpump Rules” airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
