Bryan Spears has entered the chat.
Britney Spears’ brother is stepping in to support the pop star amid her divorce from Sam Asghari, a source tells Pvnew.
“He’s been staying over and helping her alongside a therapist,” the insider shares, calling Bryan’s presence “a great thing for all of” the Spears family.
Pvnew previously reported that Britney, 41, had been “isolated” at her mansion in Thousand Oaks, Calif., after Asghari, 29, “deserted” her and filed to end their 14-month marriage last Wednesday.
A source told us at the time that the “Toxic” singer was not “on good terms with her family,” particularly her father and former conservator, Jamie Spears, and her sister, Jamie Lynn Spears.
Britney briefly reunited with her mother, Lynne Spears, in May, though we heard “there’s still a lot of hurt there, so they haven’t quite reconciled.”
The Grammy winner also has lost the nearness of her sons, Sean Preston, 17, and Jayden, 16, who moved to Hawaii with their father, Kevin Federline, earlier this month.
Unlike other members of Britney’s inner circle, Bryan, 46, stayed under the radar throughout his sister’s lengthy conservatorship battle, during which she became estranged from most of her loved ones.
He only publicly spoke about her complex legal situation once, admitting on a podcast in July 2020 that “having someone constantly tell you to do something has got to be frustrating.”
When Britney married Asghari in June 2022, reports surfaced that she had invited Bryan. His girlfriend, Amber Lynn Conklin, later claimed they were unable to attend due to a prior commitment.
However, the “Hold Me Closer” singer then denied that her brother had made the star-studded guest list, writing to him via Instagram, “You hurt me and you know it.”
Since their separation, both Britney and Asghari have spoken out on Instagram.
The “The Woman in Me” author shared that she was “a little shocked” but “couldn’t take the pain anymore,” while the former personal trainer tersely wrote on his account, “S–t happens.”
The now-estranged couple started dating in late 2016 after Asghari starred in Britney’s “Slumber Party” music video.
