Two bobs and a wedding.
Margaret Qualley eschewed a complicated bridal updo for her wedding to Jack Antonoff on Saturday, wearing her hair in a curly style that brought back memories of her mother, Andie MacDowell’s, 1990s style.
The “Maid” star, 28, sported the bouncy bob for her Long Beach Island, New Jersey nuptials, wearing a long veil for the ceremony but going without any hair clips or other adornments for the reception.
The simple look was reminiscent of her mother’s hair in 1994’s “Four Weddings and a Funeral,” in which the actress wears her curls in a similarly voluminous style.
Hair aside, the bride looked stunning in a halter-neck satin gown for her big day, with the plunging look trimmed with shimmery beads along its bustline.
The “Leftovers” star — who’s parents are MacDowell and her ex-husband, Paul Qualley — paired her gown with sparkling drop earrings and comfy satin Mary Jane flats with beaded detail for her seaside wedding to the music producer, which was held at Parker’s Garage & Oyster Saloon.
She changed into a second dress for her reception, wearing a romantic midi dress with sheer, puffed three-quarter sleeves and a full skirt with tonal satin stripes.
The couple — who announced their engagement in May after two years of dating — celebrated alongside MacDowell and famous friends like Taylor Swift, Cara Delevingne, Zoë Kravitz, Channing Tatum, Lana Del Rey, “Real Housewives of New York” star Jenna Lyons and The 1975 drummer George Daniel.
When it comes to the mother-of-the-bride’s signature curls, MacDowell, 65, still rocks the same look, but with a dash of salt-and-pepper.
The “Groundhog Day” actress has been embracing her grays since 2020, sharing that she felt like a “silver fox” on a 2021 episode of “The Drew Barrymore Show.”
And although she wasn’t sure she’d keep her grays when beauty salons reopened, MacDowell stuck with silver. “I felt that I would be happier,” she said in 2022. “And I am happier. I really like it.”
No doubt her daughter approves.
