50 Cent shuts down Ozempic speculation, reveals he’s lost more than 40 pounds: ‘I was working the f–k out’

No more going to the “Candy Shop.”

50 Cent denied using Ozempic for weight loss, explaining that he worked out hard to lose more than 40 pounds.

“Everybody talking about weight loss. I was in the gym. I was working the f–k out, man. Who says Ozempic?” the “In Da Club” rapper, 48, said in a video posted to Instagram Wednesday.

“I was running. I was running,” he added. “I was doing what I had to do.”

50, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, explained that he weighed in at 253 pounds before starting his fitness journey.

“You seen me on tour. I was running around. I was 253 pounds,” he said, adding that he is now down to 210 pounds.

“So how you feel about it?” he asked his fans.

The “Disco Inferno” performer did not give any further details on his exercise routine, as he quickly changed the subject to touch on fellow rapper YFN Lucci pleading guilty to a gang-related charge.

Fans were quick to praise 50 for addressing the Ozempic speculation.

“You look awesome,” one Instagram user gushed in the comments section.

“50 looks fine. He’s not a young man. He still looks good for his age. Ppl here to chill with the weight loss talk,” another supporter wrote.

“50 was on tour for 6 months straight running up and down stairs, running backstage and levitating in the air of course he was going to lose a lot of weight. He’s still fine,” a third person chimed in.

“When they said that silly s–t all you can do it laugh! Ozempic yall obviously didn’t got [sic] to the show all that damn work! 40+lbs,” another agreed, adding, “Health is wealth.”

Trolls began questioning whether 50 had been using the popular Type 2 diabetes drug to lose weight after he shared photos earlier this week of himself looking slimmer.

However, a source close to the Grammy winner told Pvnew exclusively that he was not on Ozempic and had been on a “rigorous” training program for eight months.

The insider added that 50 started training for “three hours a day, every day” before he began his Final Lap Tour last summer.

50’s body previously became a topic of conversation after his appearance during the 2022 Super Bowl halftime show.

At the time, cyberbullies responded to his performance by fat-shaming him, and even Nick Cannon made critical comments about 50’s weight.

Last June, the “Wild ‘N Out” host, 43, said that 50 looked like he had “a pack of hot dogs on the back of his neck” and called him “fat.”

“You looking at them pictures from ‘Get Rich or Die Tryin’, now it’s get thick or die fryin’,” Cannon jabbed.

50 is clearly on a self-improvement journey. In addition to his new gym dedication, he revealed earlier this month that he was giving up sex to focus on his career goals.
