The A*Teens are set to reunite to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their debut album, “The ABBA Generation,” Pvnew can exclusively /confirm/i.

We hear the “Upside Down” singers will perform at the Swedish music competition Melodifestivalen 2024 on Feb. 3, marking their first official appearance together in two decades.

The group’s original members, Marie Serneholt, Dhani Lennevald, Sara Lumholdt and Amit Paul, recently met up in Stockholm to prepare for their comeback, as seen in a photo obtained by Pvnew.

We’re told they are in the process of scheduling a press conference to formally announce the news.

The A*Teens started as an ABBA cover band in Sweden in 1999 and quickly found success in the United States, where they served as an opening act on Britney Spears’ “Oops! … I Did It Again” tour in 2000.

After releasing “The ABBA Generation,” which included their modernized renditions of classics like “Dancing Queen” and “Mamma Mia,” the Europop stars put out their first album of original material, “Teen Spirit,” in 2001.

The A*Teens promoted their international hits such as “Upside Down” and “Halfway Around the World” while touring with Aaron Carter in 2001 before releasing their third album, “Pop ‘Til You Drop!,” the following year.

The band is also known for their upbeat cover of Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” which appeared in the 2002 Disney movie “Lilo & Stitch.”

The A*Teens’ final release came in 2004 in the form of a greatest hits album as a farewell to their fans.

After their disbandment, all four members pursued solo careers, most of which were short-lived.

Serneholt, 40, and Lumholdt, 39, have since worked on TV shows including Sweden’s “The X Factor,” while Lennevald, 39, is a music producer and Paul, 40, is a businessman.
