Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes confirmed they are still going strong after releasing an emotional podcast episode discussing the issues in their relationship.
“Hey, folks, just wanted to check in and let you know that despite what you’ve been hearing, we are still together,” Holmes said in an Instagram video Tuesday while walking alongside Robach.
The couple shared a quick laugh before Holmes explained that they “struggled and debated about whether” they should drop Tuesday’s episode, but he is now “glad” they did.
“Yeah, I am, too, because our larger goal in putting out our latest episode was to show that, yes, we like to put pictures of us smiling like everyone else and laughing on social media, but if we wanna be real, and we wanna be transparent …,” Robach chimed in.
Robach, 50, acknowledged she and Holmes, 46, have issues like “most relationships” do, so they hope their listeners were able to “get something out of” the episode.
“We’re still together :),” they captioned the joint post. “If you’ve already listened to today’s episode on Amy and T.J., you’ll understand!”
The former “GMA3” co-anchors made the video shortly after fans flooded Robach’s Instagram with comments about the podcast and their relationship.
In the episode, Robach and Holmes candidly discussed some of their communication issues, and she even called him out for getting “moody” on his “really bad days.”
“What I’d love for you to do is to confide in me, to lean on me, to share with me so that we’re a part of the solution together,” she told him.
Meanwhile, Holmes claimed that when times get “bad,” the “last thing” he wants to do is “tell you what I need.”
The controversial journalists also talked about how their careers were “unfairly taken” from them after ABC fired them in January 2023 for having a months-long affair.
“We’ve always worked together, but working with this kind of pressure over our heads is a whole other thing. … That pressure is a lot,” Robach explained.
Robach and Holmes agreed that the morning show “grind” is no longer good for them anyway.
Since launching their podcast in December 2023, the duo have denied cheating on their respective spouses, fessed up to drinking heavily and even gotten real about their sex life.
Robach and Holmes have continued to defend their relationship, saying that while there was a “price to pay” to be together, they are “very excited” for their future.
