Meghan Markle definitely dressed to impress last night.
Making a surprise appearance at the premiere of “Bob Marley: One Love” in Kingston, Jamaica, the Duchess of Sussex, 42, looked as elegant as ever in Carolina Herrera.
Markle chose a black tank top and black silk taffeta ball skirt ($2,390) from the brand’s Icon collection, pulling her hair back into a sleek bun and keeping her accessories and makeup minimal.
To complement her classic ensemble, the former “Suits” star did add a little sparkle, choosing Jennifer Meyer Large Hammered Disc Earrings ($3,250).
As for makeup, Markle went the natural route as well, opting for a dewy, bronzed look and neutral lip.
Not to be upstaged by his wife, Price Harry didn’t slack off when it came to his own ensemble.
The Duke of Sussex, 39, chose to dress up for the event as well, but kept his dark navy suit on the casual side, skipping a tie and leaving the top buttons on his white shirt unfastened.
At the event, the couple made sure to greet Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holness, posing for pictures with government leader.
The interaction, however, did receive a bit of backlash from royalists, as Holness has been vocal about his anti-monarchy views in the past.
The couple also took photos with the former Attorney General of Jamaica, Marlene Malahoo Forte, as well as president and CEO of Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon, Brian Robbins.
Although Meghan and Harry clearly looked glamorous on the red carpet, many of their recent sightings have included more laid-back fashion choices.
Ahead of the December holidays, the two were seen vacationing with their kids in Costa Rica, where the actress wore a button-down shirt, denim shorts and sandals, while Harry went with a classic polo shirt and shorts.
In the same month, Markle also popped up in an ad for coffee company Clevr Blends, rocking a sweatshirt, knit sweater and jeans in various shots.
Unfortunately, fans missed out on seeing the mom of two at the Golden Globes 2024, where the rest of the “Suits” cast appeared on stage for a reunion.
According to an insider, Markle skipped the event due to a prior commitment.
“Bob Marley: One Love” hits theaters on Feb. 14, with actor Kingsley Ben-Adir portraying the famous singer.
