Joy Behar teased co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin for her “stewardess” outfit choice on Wednesday’s episode of “The View.”
Behar was discussing the “total chaos” of social media and how anyone can comment on any topic when she gave a sassy example to Griffin.
“Any anonymous idiot can make a statement about your airline stewardess outfit,” Behar quipped while pointing to Griffin.
The four other women immediately burst out laughing and even Griffin joked, “Ooh, burn!”
“I’m wondering if you’re serving snacks,” Behar continued.
Co-host Sunny Hostin chimed in and assured Griffin that the joke was “a term of endearment.”
“It’s true!” Behar, 81, said.
Griffin, 34, wore a short white collared dress with light and dark blue accent stripes on the collar, sleeves, waistline and pockets. The dress also featured silver statement buttons embroidered up and down the middle of the dress and on the pockets.
The former White House director of strategic communications accessorized the look with simple white stilettos and pulled her hair back into a half ponytail.
Behar –– who has never been one to shy away from sharing her hot takes –– and her co-hosts have previously talked about being criticized for their looks.
Just one day prior, Hostin called out social media trolls for saying her clothes look “too young” for her.
“I’m 55. I get criticized often on these stupid social media things about, ‘That’s too young for you.’ Well guess what? I don’t care!” Hostin said on Tuesday’s episode.
Hostin gushed that she feels “better than I’ve ever felt in my entire life.”
Meanwhile, Behar has also received mixed feedback on her outfit choices and even poked fun at herself for wearing high-waisted pants on a previous episode.
Behar appeared on a November episode of the hit ABC talk show when she spilled that their co-host Ana Navarro –– who was absent that day –– texted her to inform her she looked like Steve Urkel.
“She goes, ‘Pull your pants down. They’re riding all the way up to your boobs.’ She said, ‘You look like Urkel,'” Behar said, referring to the “Family Matters” character who famously wore high-waisted pants with suspenders.
Behar joined in on the fun by standing up and pulling up her red pants even higher and asked if Navarro if that was “better?”
