Eva Mendes took down longtime partner Ryan Gosling’s hater following his 2024 Oscar nomination for his role in “Barbie” — and she came with receipts.
“So proud of my man,” the actress wrote on Instagram Wednesday alongside a screenshot of a past article slamming Gosling’s performance as Ken in the 2023 film.
“So much hate when he took on this role. So many people trying to shame him for doing it.”
Mendes, 49, continued, “Despite all the #Notmyken ridicule and articles written about him, he created this completely original, hilarious, heartbreaking, now iconic character and took it all the way to Oscars [sic].
