Paris Hilton and her husband, Carter Reum, were photographed frolicking on the beach in Maui over the weekend despite deadly wildfires raging across the island.

In photos obtained by Pvnew, the socialite and Reum, both 42, were all smiles as they basked in the sunshine while staying at a luxe resort in Wailea, only 30 miles from the devastated town of Lahaina.

Hilton could be seen carrying their 7-month-old son, Phoenix, in one arm while holding an inflatable rubber ducky in the other as she and the venture capitalist walked along the shoreline.

The pair then stopped to share a sweet kiss before continuing down the beach without a care in the world as search and rescue efforts continued on the other side of the island.

The hotel heiress wore a plunging, tropical-print one-piece with a blue skirt during the beach day. She accessorized with a green hat, Prada sunglasses and a seashell-shaped purse.

Meanwhile, Reum opted for a pair of pink swim trunks and a black baseball hat.

After the happy couple dropped off their little one, they went for a stroll together.

Hilton — who swapped out her blue cover-up for a pair of checked pants — and Reum held each other tight and shared another smooch while walking along a paved pathway.

However, the pair’s seemingly carefree attitude amid the ongoing tragedy has been met with lots of backlash online, with some users labeling the “Simple Life” star as an “idiot.”

“Disgusting. They’ve asked all tourists to leave the island,” one person tweeted, while another simply wrote, “Read the room.”

However, a source claimed to the Daily Mail that the couple, who wed in 2021, have “been absolutely helping” the community by “gathering supplies and taking them to shelters and those who need.”

The pair reportedly arrived in Hawaii on Tuesday — the same day that the devastating wildfires started.

The following day, the Hawaii Tourism Authority asked tourists to vacate the island as the death toll neared 100 — with around 1,000 people still missing.

“Visitors who are on non-essential travel are being asked to leave Maui, and non-essential travel to Maui is strongly discouraged at this time,” the agency wrote. “In the days and weeks ahead, our collective resources and attention must be focused on the recovery of residents and communities that were forced to evacuate their homes and businesses.”

Meanwhile, Jason Momoa, Oprah Winfrey and Jeff Bezos have used their platforms to raise awareness about the devastating situation.

In fact, the Amazon founder and his fiancée, Lauren Sánchez, have vowed to donate $100 million to relief funds, while Winfrey promised to make a “major donation.”
