Jeff Lewis is very sorry for offending Kyle Richards with his shady remark earlier this week that she is a “lesbian on Ozempic.”
“I was simply poking fun at these ridiculous rumors that have been circulating about my friend, Kyle,” the “Jeff Lewis Live” host explains in an exclusive statement to Pvnew Thursday.
“I never expected anyone to take this seriously and have apologized publicly and privately.”
Lewis concludes with a direct message to Richards, “If I could say one thing to Kyle; please text me back.”
The former “Flipping Out” star, 53, first revealed on Wednesday that the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star, 54, was not answering his messages after he made the comment.
“I’ve yet to hear back,” he told TMZ, adding at the time that he was unaware whether his pal was upset or not. “I don’t know. I hope not.”
However, Richards confirmed on Amazon Live Thursday she was indeed annoyed with Lewis over his comment.
“I’m not not talking to Jeff Lewis, I just don’t feel like responding to Jeff Lewis right now, to be honest with you,” she told her fans during a live stream.
“I’m just tired of it. I’m at my wit’s end with all of the stories about me out there and I just want everyone to be quiet.”
The “Halloween Kills” star added, “It’s hard enough with people saying things about me and you just expect your friends not to … I kind of felt, like, yesterday with friends like that, who needs enemies?”
Since Lewis has issued a mea culpa, Richards has not chimed in on whether she will accept it or not. Her rep also did not immediately return Pvnew’s request for comment.
Richards was likely upset as she’s been trying to shut down both rumors that she is on Ozempic and dating country singer Morgan Wade for months.
In May, the Bravolebrity told Pvnew exclusively that she has “never tried” and “never taken” the diabetes drug, which many other “Housewives” have admitted to using in order to shed some weight.
Richards, for her part, credited eating healthy, not drinking and her personal trainer Cory Gregory, who also trains Wade, 28, for her fit physique.
As for the rumors about the “Wilder Days” crooner, the mom of four has also vehemently denied those claims.
Richards said in June that she and Wade, 28, being more than friends is “just a rumor” and denied that their having matching tattoos is a sign they are a couple.
However, the pair enjoyed fueling the rumor mill Thursday with the release a steamy music video for Wade’s new single, “Fall In Love With Me,” in which they nearly kiss and get flirty with one another.
