Elisabeth Moss’ dad, Ron Moss, reportedly died at age 79 after a brief battle with an infection on Thursday night.
According to TMZ, Ron’s grandson, Max, told the outlet that his grandfather passed away peacefully while surrounded by his family in Clearwater, Fla.
“Ron made so many friends throughout his rich life and we want everyone to know that you all meant so much to him. Thank you for everything that any of you did for him throughout his life,” Max, also the executor of Ron’s estate, wrote in a statement to the outlet.
Ron was born and raised in England. He and his wife, Linda, raised Elisabeth and her younger brother, Derek, in the United States.
Ron was a musician, working in jazz bands as a trained trombone player.
He previously got gigs with David Miscavige, the current leader of the Church of Scientology, which is the religion Ron and Elisabeth both follow.
Ron also served as a manager for several stars over the years, including Isaac Hayes and Chick Corea, who is the “Handmaid’s Tale” star’s godfather.
Pvnew has reached out to Elisabeth’s rep for comment but did not immediately hear back.
The “Invisible Man” actress, 41, has rarely been spotted out in public and is very private about her love life.
Most recently, she was seen rubbing her stomach while on the set of her latest project in Los Angeles in December.
The “Mad Men” alum dressed casually for the outing, wearing an oversized plain gray T-shirt and black sweats.
