Eighties supermodel Carol Alt has joined onlyFans at age 62 — and she tells us it’s the first time in her career she’s had control over her own image.
“Forty-four years of working, I don’t own one of my photos,” Alt — who appeared on multiple covers for high fashion mags like Vogue and Harpers Bazaar — tells Pvnew. “When people say ‘Do you have a photo I can use?’ I have to go ask someone.”
In joining the racy platform, Alt has hired her own photographer.
“I can choose a photo or not, say I want it or not, they are mine,” she tells us. “I can shoot how I want to shoot. It’s the wave of the future… When people say it isn’t my image, I don’t want to be defined by someone else image [of me]. I want to define my own image.”
While the site has become known for pornography, Alt says that won’t be what she’ll be doing — though there will be some “sexy, beautiful” nudes.
“There are some nude photos, but tastefully done,” she tells us. “There is a difference between pictures that are tacky and pictures that are tasteful. I don’t know a model out there who hasn’t done a nude.”
Alt has appeared in Sports Illustrated and Playboy.
The model and actress learned about the platform from her pal Denise Richards, her costar in the new show, “Paper Empire.”
Alt, who considers herself an entrepreneur, sees the move as empowering, especially for someone her age.
“I’d like to be hired from it,” she says. “I would like people to know what I look like today… Age doesn’t define me. Women are beautiful at every age. I want people to feel empowered. It’s all good stuff.”
Alt won’t be keeping all the money to herself. The raw diet guru and philanthropist will be donating a portion to mental health charities for women.
