Single-again Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn never married, insiders tells Pvnew, despite some fans’ rabid speculation.
A source further tells us that Swift isn’t involved with anyone else after the Alwyn breakup.
Some of the pop star’s fanbase has been convinced the ultra-private couple secretly got hitched at some point or had some sort of undercover ceremony.
But a source tells Pvnew that this is “fully not true.” They never tied the knot or had a ceremony, the insider insisted.
There was also buzz that the couple — who were together for six years — were engaged. Swift wore what looked like an engagement ring in her 2020 Netflix documentary, “Miss Americana,” but the speculation was never /confirm/ied.
The breakup already has fueled further speculation that the “Lavender Haze” singer could already be dating — after anonymous Instagram gossip fixture Deuxmoi posted a tip she was seeing someone “older.”
But a source tells Pvnew that Swift is “100% single.”
Over the weekend, Pvnew reported that Swift and Alwyn broke up a few weeks ago.
We were told the split “wasn’t dramatic,” and that “the relationship just ran its course,” a source said.
Reps for Swift, 33, and Alwyn, 32, did not comment.
The pair first met at the 2016 Met Gala and started dating a few months later. The relationship went public in 2017.
Swift has been on her blockbuster “Eras Tour” since March 17, and fans have noticed that Alwyn has been missing from the scene.
Some believe Swift hinted at her relationship status when she replaced her famed love ode to Alwyn, “Invisible String,” with the song “The 1” during her March 31 show in Arlington, Texas.
The tune includes lines such as, “And if my wishes came true / It would’ve been you /
In my defense, I have none / For never leaving well enough alone / But it would’ve been fun / If you would’ve been the one.”
Swift’s past exes famously include Joe Jonas, Jake Gyllenhaal, John Mayer, Harry Styles, Calvin Harris and Tom Hiddleston.
