Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds may typically keep their family life private, but they’re the proud parents of four kids.
The “Green Lantern” co-stars began dating in 2011, one year after they met on the set of the DC Comics movie.
In September 2012, the couple got married on a South Carolina plantation — which they later apologized for following backlash. Reynolds told Details the following year that he wanted a “big family” with the “Gossip Girl” alum.
“A lot of people say it’s crazy, but we’ll only know when we’re there, you know?” the actor said in the August 2013 interview. “We’ll walk through that fire pretty happily, I think.”
As for Lively, the “Age of Adaline” star joked to Marie Claire at the time about wanting a “litter of kids.”

James Reynolds
In December 2014, Lively gave birth to a baby girl named James.
The little one’s moniker was inspired by Reynolds’ late father, James Reynolds, who died in October of the following year at age 74.
“In the spectrum of weird celebrity baby names, I don’t really feel like we’re breaking new ground here,” the Golden Globe nominee joked during a “Good Morning Britain” appearance in 2020.
“I didn’t call her Summer Squash Meadowlark.”
James has made rare public appearances over the years, including her dad’s Walk of Fame ceremony in 2018.
Inez Reynolds
James became a big sister in 2016 when Lively and Ryan welcomed their second daughter, Inez.
Lively clarified during a 2018 interview with People that the infant’s moniker is “with a ‘z’ even though everyone says it with an ‘s.'”
She joked, “I don’t know why, please tell Wikipedia.”
While Lively and her husband normally keep their kids out of the limelight, Ryan did tell EW Radio Spotlight that same year that his “Deadpool” costume made Inez “sob.”
He said, “It’s torture because you can’t rip it off in the moment and be like, ‘No, no, no! See I’m under here,’ undo[ing] four hours of prosthetic makeup work.”
Betty Reynolds
When Betty joined Lively and Ryan’s family in October 2019, Inez was not pleased.
“My oldest is very into the baby. My middle child, not so much,” the “Simple Favor” star admitted to Jimmy Fallon in 2020. “Our middle daughter just keeps away from her.
“I said to her, ‘You’re going to teach her everything she knows. You get to teach her about cities and the sky and flowers and Santa Claus. Anything you want,'” Lively continued. “And she goes, ‘Oh, I didn’t love [her], but now I do.’”
While she and Ryan kept quiet about their third child’s name, their close pal Taylor Swift revealed it in her 2020 song “Betty.”
Reynolds confirmed the moniker in 2021, telling SiriusXM’s Jess Cagle what a “pretty damn amazing … honor” it was to have the Grammy winner use the names in a “very sensitive” way.
Swift gave the Reynolds girls a shout out during her “Eras Tour” stop in Philadelphia in May 2023.
“Hi James, hi Nezzy,” the crooner said to the youngsters who attended the show with thir mom.
Baby No. 4
In May 2022, Lively revealed her pregnancy by debuting her baby bump at Forbes Power Women’s Summit.
“Here are photos of me pregnant in real life so the 11 guys waiting outside my home for a
