Talk about doom and bloom.
Love didn’t blossom for Odell Beckham Jr. at his birthday party — and he got dissed for his flowers.
Romance rumors have been hanging around the NFL star and Kim Kardashian since the summer. But while pair chatted the night away at his 31st birthday bash on Monday night, a spy tells us it was strictly platonic.
After the CFDA Awards — a.k.a. the “Oscars of Fashion” — at the Natural History Museum in New York, the model crowd, including Emily Ratajkowski, Ashley Graham, Winnie Harlow, and Lori Harvey, headed downtown to the Baltimore Ravens wide receiver’s ’90s-themed party at arts hub WSA. Lil Baby was also on the scene.
“[Kardashian and Beckham] talked the whole night with [Fanatics mogul] Michael Rubin,” says a spy. “It was the three of them together. It didn’t seem flirty at all.”
Back in September, Pvnew heard whispers that the “Kardashians” star, 42, and Beckham had “been hanging out casually” following his split from girlfriend Lauren “Lolo” Wood.
Meanwhile, a source tells us that Beckham’s party invites drew some snotty reactions.
We hear guests were sent “an ugly bouquet of orange carnations with a note saying Odell looked forward to seeing them,” says a source, who tells us everyone was calling each other to diss the stems.
“It was like a bouquet from a bodega, literally. For sure a f–k up by someone on his team. Who sends ten orange carnations to A-list celebs?” they sniped, adding the blooms weren’t “even in a case,” but were just in a “paper wrap.”
“Send orange roses at least,” huffed the source.
Making matters more peculiar, the star athlete has a deal with the brand Pedialyte, and we hear he sent a matching orange bottle of the electrolyte drink along with the flowers.
Earlier, Anne Hathaway, Gwyneth Paltrow, Martha Stewart, Demi Moore and an Alice + Olivia-clad Nicky Hilton gathered at the Museum of Natural History for the CFDAs.
