Craig Conover can’t say he was “surprised” about Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard’s broken engagement.
When Andy Cohen questioned him about the shock split on Thursday’s episode of “Watch What Happens Live,” Conover said his “Summer House” co-stars weren’t having the “easiest” time before calling it quits.
“I was with them this summer and … there is a lot of TV to watch and a lot of context,” the 34-year-old explained. “There are two months of stuff that no one has seen yet.
“I wish them both well. I had great convos with both of them this summer,” he continued. “Unfortunately, the end result came out, and I just think those gaps will be filled in a little better when everyone gets to watch.”
Cohen, 55, attempted to clarify, asking, “What you’re saying is, you were not surprised?”
Conover replied, “I don’t want to be that guy, but this summer’s not the easiest for them. I was surprised they didn’t go through with the wedding, but there’s gonna be more context.”
Earlier this month, the Bravolebrity told Pvnew the breakup would “make a lot more sense” to viewers after Season 8 aired in full.
His fellow “WWHL” guest Madison LeCroy told Cohen on Thursday that she had “no comment” on the split.
“That means you were not surprised,” Cohen said — before going back to Conover to call him out for having yet to contact the former couple to say he’s “thinking of” them.
“That’s fair,” the lawyer admitted as audience members laughed. “It just feels like you’re walking around landmines with that stuff, but you’re right. I should do better.”
News broke in August that Radke, 38, and Hubbard, 37, were no longer walking down the aisle, one year after he got down on one knee.
“My entire life and future was ripped out from underneath me and I’ve had a hard time making sense of it all – with no answers or closure on why,” Hubbard confirmed in a “humiliated” social media statement the following month, adding that she was “still grieving” and “trying to process.”
The PR specialist also scrubbed all the wedding content from her Instagram.
Hubbard is currently in the Bahamas enjoying her previously planned bachelorette trip with co-stars Danielle Olivera, Samantha Feher and Gabby Prescod.
She and Radke were initially set to tie the knot in November in Mexico.
