Joe Jonas sent a pointed message to concertgoers on Thursday night in the wake of his estranged wife Sophie Turner’s bombshell lawsuit.
Before performing “Little Bird” in Pennsylvania with brothers Kevin Jonas and Nick Jonas, Joe gave a special shout out to moms and dads.
“This next one is all about being a parent,” the singer, 34, told the Wells Fargo Center audience members, wishing future parents “good luck.”
onlookers claimed via Twitter that the former Disney Channel star got “choked up” at this point of the concert.
“Joe looked so sad during ‘little bird’ tonight,” one social media user wrote, while another added, “me and joe jonas: both crying during little bird tonight.”
The song, which came out in May, is a sweet ballad about the bandmates’ children.
Nick is the father of daughter Malti, 1, with wife Priyanka Chopra, while Kevin shares daughters Alena, 9, and Valentina, 6, with wife Danielle Jonas.
As for Joe and Turner, the pair welcomed daughter Willa, now 3, and a baby girl whose name they has yet to reveal, 1, before calling it quits earlier this month.
The “Game of Thrones” alum, 27, made headlines Thursday when she sued her estranged husband for the return of their little ones to their “forever home” in England.
In court docs obtained by Pvnew, the actress claimed that she and the “Jonas” alum decided in December 2022 to move to her home country, requesting that he return the kids’ passports to her.
She also alleged that she found out about Joe filing for divorce in Miami on Sept. 5 “through the media,” three weeks after they had an argument on his birthday.
Joe’s rep told us in a statement that the songwriter did not “abduct” the children, adding, “Joe is seeking shared parenting with the kids so that they are raised by both their mother and father.”
While the actor took the stage Thursday night, Turner was photographed having dinner with Taylor Swift — one of Joe’s ex-girlfriends — for the second time this week.
She and Joe have been together since 2016 and married since 2019.
