Ronnie Ortiz-Magro was spotted at the same location as where the “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation” cast — including his ex Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola — are currently filming the MTV reality show.
The reality star was photographed Friday at the Margaritaville Resort in Orlando, Fla., according to pics obtained by TMZ on Saturday.
Per the outlet, Giancola and her co-stars Jennifer “JWoww” Farley, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Deena Cortese, Paul “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio and Vinny Guadagnino have also been seen on the hotel grounds.
However, the cast members do not appear in Ortiz-Magro’s images, so it is unclear if they have had a run-in yet.
It is also unknown whether the father of one was asked to film, showed up unannounced or was there coincidentally.
Reps for Ortiz-Magro did not immediately respond to Pvnew’s request for comment.
The MTV personality revealed in March that he relocated to the Sunshine State with his 5-year-old daughter, Ariana, to get “a change of scenery” and a “change of pace.”
“I’m opening up a new business, a sneaker store,” he shared at the time. “It’s just something that’s always been a passion of mine.”
In the photos from Friday’s sighting, Ortiz-Magro could be seen having a tense conversation with a woman in the lobby while someone holding a camera stands nearby.
TMZ reports that it is unknown whether Ortiz-Magro and Giancola are set to film any scenes together or if they will just be shooting separately with their castmates.
Giancola, who recently confirmed her return to the series after a decades-long hiatus, is shooting the show with her boyfriend, Justin May, Pvnew exclusively reported this week.
Ortiz-Magro, for his part, appears to be single as he and his ex-fiancée Saffire Matos called off their engagement last July.
Ortiz-Magro, 37, and Giancola, 36, may not be on the best terms as they had a tumultuous relationship that played out on several seasons of “Jersey Shore.”
During an explosive fight in Season 3, Ortiz-Magro destroyed Giancola’s belongings and tried to throw out her bed mattress.
The couple called it quits for good in 2014, with Ortiz-Magro saying in a statement to Us Weekly at the time that they grew their “separate ways.”
When the spinoff “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation” premiered in 2018, Giancola declined to return but Ortiz-Magro was on the show.
During that time, he found himself dealing with a lot of personal and legal drama.
In 2019, he allegedly struck his ex Jen Harley, chasing her with a knife and resisting arrest. He was then arrested again on felony domestic violence charges in April 2021.
That same year, Ortiz-Magro decided to work on himself and step away from the show to work on his mental health.
“My number one goal now is facing my struggles head on,” he wrote on his Instagram Stories in May 2021, adding that “this process will be difficult, but my #1 priority is to get healthy and be the best man and the best father.”
Ortiz-Magro then celebrated one year of sobriety last summer.
“Jersey Shore: Family Vacation” airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on MTV.
