Jesse Tyler Ferguson is throwing some serious fecal festivities in his house right now.

The “Modern Family” alum, 47, revealed that he and his husband, Justin Mikita, 37, are now knee-deep in bowel movements, potty training their 2-year-old son, Beckett.

“Our older child is being potty trained right now,” he told Pvnew at the Broadway opening of “Shucked” last week. “Making a big production out of a bowel movement is something we do in our house right now.”

And the celebrations aren’t just restricted to Beckett.

“Now we’re doing it for ourselves,” the Tony winner explained. “‘Look! It’s very exciting that we all poop so much!’ A lot of parades for poop are being thrown in our house right now.”

The couple welcomed their second son, Sullivan, last November and Ferguson admits that having “two little ones is exhausting.”

“People warn you but they don’t really warn you!” he quipped.

Ferguson married Mikita, a lawyer and Broadway producer, in 2013. They recently worked together on the documentary “Broadway Rising,” which followed the often complex road to reopening Broadway after the unprecedented shutdown due to COVID-19.

Last year, there had been discussions about a “Modern Family” spinoff centered on his character, Mitchell Pritchett, and his on-screen husband, Cameron Tucker (played by Eric Stonestreet), moving to Missouri with their two kids.

“The script’s out there and it’s very good,” he told ET last June. “So, you know, who knows? If someone wants to produce it, maybe.”

But it appears that it’s not going to happen.

“Oh, I think that might be dead,” Ferguson told us. “It’s ok. I’m ready to move on to other things. ‘Modern Family’ was such a special experience and what we created later would be great, I’m sure, but it wouldn’t be the same.

“I’m really excited about doing new things. I’m happy to entertain ideas, I would want it to be with the whole group though, it would feel weird to be without them.”

The “Food Between Friends: A Cookbook” co-author looked spiffy on the Broadway carpet courtesy of a sharp-looking hat.

“Eric Stonestreet gave me this Stetson probably seven years ago on my birthday,” Ferguson explained. “I’m not like a cowboy guy at all and he said, ‘I’m going to give you this hat — it’s a really nice hat — so you have to wear it for a special occasion,’ and it’s been sitting in my closet for so many years. So, I thought, ‘I’m wearing this tonight.'”

Other celebs on the red carpet for the new musical — which comes with a book written by Robert Horn — included Kacey Musgraves, Kristin Chenoweth and Susan Sarandon.
