From “Bachelorette” to baby!
Clare Crawley welcomed her and her husband Ryan Dawkins’ first child together via surrogate late Monday.
Crawley shared an Instagram Story photo of her and Dawkins hugging in the hospital and wrote, “She’s here! Healthy + beyond loved! Dream come true.”
The couple didn’t announce the name of their new arrival.
The former reality star, 42, is also a stepmom, as “girl dad” Dawkins has two daughters from a previous relationship.
In an October 2022 Instagram Q&A, the Mascot Sports CEO told Crawley’s followers that his older children are “completely obsessed” with the Bachelor Nation member.
The duo had been together for one year by that time, with Dawkins getting down on one knee earlier that month.
After the couple walked down the aisle in February, a fan asked Crawley whether she saw kids “in [her] future.”
The “Bachelor” alum replied, “Children are in my present.”
She later clarified, “My husband has children. That makes me a stepparent now to them and they are incredibly special to me. they count.”
Two months later, Crawley made headlines for writing on her Story that she would “have 20 babies if [she] could.”
The hairstylist used a laundry line of baby clothes to reveal in July that she had a little one on the way with a surrogate’s help.
“This TRULY is what my dreams are made of!” she told her followers at the time. “This is one journey though that Ryan and I have been keeping close to our hearts as we navigated the uncertain world of IVF and all that comes with it up until this point.”
Crawley and Dawkins found out their child’s sex the following month by cutting into a pink cake.
The pair kicked off their romance one year after Crawley starred as Season 16’s “Bachelorette” — a role that Tayshia Adams took over after Crawley left the show with competitor Dale Moss.
She and Moss, 34, dated on and off before ultimately calling it quits in 2021.
Prior to “The Bachelorette,” Crawley got her start in the franchise as a contestant on Season 18 of “The Bachelor” while competing for Juan Pablo Galavis’ heart. She also appeared on two seasons of “Bachelor in Paradise” as well as “Bachelor Winter Games.”
