Vinny Guadagnino wishes nothing but happiness for Gabby Windey in her new relationship after the two had some flirty banter while appearing on “Dancing With The Stars.”
After the former “Bachelorette” announced Wednesday that she has been dating female comedian Robby Hoffman for three months, the “Jersey Shore” alum said he is “happy” to see Windey “live her truth.”
“I did the [‘Dancing With the Stars’] tour with [Windey] a few months ago and it was funny because she was so stressed out on that tour because she did every single date,” the 35-year-old told Us Weekly.
“But after seeing this today, I’m so happy to see her be happy and live her truth and to see her face again.”
When asked if he would ever go out with Windey and her girlfriend, the reality answered, “Of course, yeah. Gabby’s a good friend of mine, for sure.”
The 32-year-old “Bachelor” runner-up revealed her secret relationship while appearing on “The View.”
“I always want to live my truth and my story. So, I have been seeing someone for a couple months, and I’ve been keeping it a little more private, because it is a bigger story and a bigger conversation, ’cause I’m dating a girl,” she told the hosts.
After the show, Windey took to Instagram, sharing a carousel of pictures of her and Hoffman throughout the course of their hidden romance.
“Told you I’m a girls girl!!” she captioned the hard launch of her relationship.
Guadagnino and Windey fueled romance rumors when they both appeared on Season 31 of “Dancing With the Stars,” which premiered in September 2022.
After the ICU nurse split from “Bachelorette” finalist Erich Schwer in November 2022, the MTV star and Windey began getting very flirty on social media that same month.
When the “DWTS” competitor celebrated her spot in the finale of the ABC show via Instagram, fellow contestant Guadagnino told his “baby mamma” that she did a “good job” in the comments section.
In return, Windey called the “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation” star her “main man.”
That same day, she commented on one of his Instagram posts.
“stop looking for the one…be the one, and let them all come to you,” the “Double Shot at Love” alum captioned the shot, to which Windey wrote, “Omw.”
One day prior, Guadagnino called Windey “as basic as a Starbucks on sunset blvd,” to which she replied, “if that’s wrong I don’t wanna be right.”
Windey later addressed their flirtation, claiming that they were just “friends.”
“Apparently both of us just like to kind of stir the post. Which is, like, funny. But [the buzz] did happen out of nowhere,” she explained on the “Chicks in the Office” podcast at the time.
Windey’s “DWTS” partner, Val Chmerkovskiy, also chimed in on the speculation, saying, “It was an inside joke that got away.”
