Lenny Hochstein revealed he had “anxiety” moments before proposing to his now-fiancée, Katharina Mazepa.
“My plan was to go to a cliff in Ibiza to watch the sunset. I enlisted a close friend to film the event,” the plastic surgeon, 57, told Us Weekly Tuesday.
“I was not nervous about the proposal, but I am afraid of heights, so the whole ‘being on the edge of a cliff’ gave me far more anxiety than the proposal.”
The couple announced their engagement on Instagram Saturday with a series of snaps taken from the cliffside in Ibiza.
“On top of an ancient pirate cave, overlooking the sunset over breathtaking Es Vedrá, he asked to steal me away forever,” Mazepa, 27, captioned the post.
A video of the proposal showed the model jumping into Hochstein’s arms, which he told the outlet came as a surprise.
“Having Kat jump on me, which is something she loves to do, was a little unexpected,” he said. “But it’s her move, so maybe I should have expected it.”
Mazepa also showed off her rare 12-carat radiant diamond ring that experts told Pvnew Style was worth around $1 million.
“Finding a high-quality diamond in this carat weight is exceptionally rare, and weeks of planning likely went into selecting Katharina’s exact diamond,” Ajay Anand, CEO of Rare Carat, said. “The size and beauty of her diamond is truly breathtaking.”
The couple’s engagement came as Lenny is still married to Lisa Hochstein.
The “Real Housewives of Miami” star, 41, and her estranged husband have been involved in a messy divorce since May 2022.
Lisa sarcastically congratulated her ex and his new fiancée hours after the proposal news, writing via her Instagram Story, “Congrats to my current husband and his mistress on their engagement.”
She also slammed the plastic surgeon’s mom, Marina Hochstein, who publicly criticized her on social media while praising her son.
“I will be very happy that this time you are getting a woman who love and respect you. You certainly did not have that in your previous marriage. Good luck congratulations,” Marina commented on Lenny’s post.
To which the reality star clapped back, “What a wonderful mother in law and grandmother. How disgusting.”
Lisa previously alleged her husband of 12 years, known as the “boob god” of Miami, cheated on her with Mazepa while they were still together. Lenny has denied the claims despite dating the 27-year-old for more than a year.
As for their court battle, Lenny was ordered to pay his estranged wife $8,000 per month in temporary support in April.
A judge also required him to fund school tuition, camp and extracurriculars for their two kids, Logan, 7, and Elle, 3.
Pvnew previously confirmed the former couple was close to finalizing the divorce after entering a marriage settlement agreement on June 23, according to court documents.
