Barry Keoghan is back on the market.
The “Saltburn” star confirmed in a new interview that he and his longtime girlfriend, Alyson Sandro, broke up after welcoming their son, Brando.
“She’s done a great job, and she’s an incredible mother,” he told GQ in his February 2024 cover story, published Tuesday.
The magazine noted that Keoghan, 31, did not share any additional information about the split.
Rumors first began swirling in July 2023 that the actor and Sandro had gone their separate ways after nearly three years of dating.
“They’ve grown apart over recent months, and things have finally come to a head,” a source told the Sun at the time, further claiming that Keoghan’s “partying caused arguments” with the orthodontist.
The insider also said the pair’s relationship had “suffered” following the success of the Oscar nominee’s 2022 film “The Banshees of Inisherin.”
Neither Keoghan nor Sandro publicly commented on the report.
The now-exes met in 2021 at a bar in London. They welcomed their baby boy — who is named after legendary movie star Marlon Brando — in August 2022 while Keoghan was filming “Saltburn” with Jacob Elordi.
“They gave me a day off,” he recalled with a laugh in his new GQ profile. “Good on them! Day off, and straight on to night shoots and night feedings — boom!”
While “havin’ a baby boy and leadin’ a movie” kept the “Dunkirk” star busy, he described it as “the best time of [his] life.”
Now that Brando is a year and a half old, though, Keoghan feels a greater responsibility as a father.
“I can’t get the little boy off my mind. It’s beautiful. Y’know, it’s crazy, but when he looks at you, you feel like the most important person in the world. That’s the effect he has on me,” he gushed. “He smiles at you and you’re like, ‘Wow. You’re smiling at me like that? I don’t deserve that, but anyways, thanks.'”
Since his breakup from Sandro, the “Killing of a Sacred Deer” star has been linked to former Disney Channel actress Sabrina Carpenter after they were photographed dining together in December.
However, a source tells Pvnew exclusively there is “no truth” to rumors that Keoghan and Carpenter, 24, are romantically involved.
