Hailie Jade Mathers is moonlighting as an interior designer.
Eminem’s 28-year-old daughter shared stunning before-and-after photos of her and her fiancé Evan McClintock’s home renovations.
Hailie created an Instagram account last month to showcase the progress of her transformations, writing in the comments section of one post that she is “excited to share more” from her “past & future” projects.
One photo showed a kitchen completely gutted with its walls stripped and loose wires hanging out.
A follow-up snap unveiled her gorgeous new kitchen complete with white marble countertops, light wood flooring, state-of-the-art appliances and contemporary finishes.
“Our pantry used to block the walkway from our hallway to our kitchen making the grocery-carrying trip away [sic] longer than necessary- so, our contractor came up with the idea to shrink the pantry back and create a walkway there!” the Detroit native explained in the caption.
She also shared that she purchased the modern black light fixtures above the kitchen island as well as the cozy gray bar stools from Wayfair.
Hailie additionally captured photos of her living room makeover as she swapped a dated stone fireplace for a sleek brick hearth.
“When I saw the floor to ceiling fireplace & height of the living room ceiling in this house, I immediately fell in love! Just changing the stone made such an impact on the space- I’m obsessed!” she wrote on Instagram.
Also seen in the spanning living area were a cozy beige L-shaped sectional and a coordinating love seat as well as a dark, rustic dining table.
The “Just a Little Shady” podcast host also posted clips of her and McClintock converting their basement into a home movie theater.
The pair were seen building new furniture pieces — including a tall gold lamp, a circular coffee table from Target and a big popcorn machine from Amazon — to create a cinematic atmosphere in front of their massive flat-screen TV.
“Naturally, the next step was to get some styling in here to cozy it up and make it feel like a movie theater,” she said in a video.
Hailie filled a basket with plush blankets, added “warm-toned” throw pillows to their Crate & Barrel couch and placed a candle and a cream lamp below the TV screen to soften up the space. She also stocked a big bin with movie theater candy for snacking.
The duo even elevated their home by updating their master bathroom to include a makeup vanity.
“Is it weird to say a bathroom is one of your favorite spaces in your house,” she asked alongside a snapshot of their chic washroom.
“When we first moved in the original ensuite was pretty small & could use some cosmetic updates, so we used an existing walkway on our main floor to build an extension above and add the space needed for this bathroom. I spent a lot of time on this space because I knew my makeup vanity would be in here and let’s face it… I spend a lot of time there.”
Hailie and McClintock got engaged in February 2023 after meeting five years prior while both attending Michigan State University.
