Ariana Grande has a surprise New Year’s gift for her fans.
The “Dangerous Woman” singer, 30, revealed that her first solo single in three years will be released on Jan. 12.
“yes, and? ♡ 1.12,” the pop star captioned a photo of herself on Instagram Sunday, revealing the name of the track.
The snap, which appears to be the cover art for the soon-to-be-released song, showed her out of focus, rocking bright red lipstick.
It’s been more than three years since Grande dropped her last studio album, “positions,” in 2020.
However, she has been featured on a handful of other artists’ songs over the past few years, including The Weeknd’s hits “Save Your Tears” and “Die For You.”
While shooting the hotly anticipated “Wicked” movie — in which she stars as Glinda the Good Witch — Grande found her name in headlines for her separation from now-ex-husband Dalton Gomez and subsequent relationship with co-star Ethan Slater.
Just last week, the “Victorious” alum criticized people who have “misunderstood” and made “assumptions” about her throughout a “transformative” year of “challenges.”
“i have never felt more pride of joy or live while simultaneously feeling so deeply misunderstood by people who don’t know me, who piece whispers together and make what they want out of me and their assumptions of my life,” she wrote in a lengthy Instagram Story in late December 2023.
The “thank u, next” hitmaker added that she knows “how much more important one of those things is than the other.”
“i have never felt more tightly held or fiercely protected by those who love and understand me (friends, family, and fans alike). I feel safe, even amidst so many things i’d usually be afraid of. I am listening to and trusting myself, even when fear or trauma tells me not to,” she went on.
The former Broadway star also explained that she’s only “reacting to things that deserve my energy” and “protecting myself from things that do not.”
“There were so many beautiful and yet polarized feelings,” she said of her “transformative,” “challenging” and “special” year.
“i gave everything I could have possibly given of my heart and of myself to the projects I was fortunate enough to be a part of and learned so much from every brilliant, beautiful, soul that I had the privilege of creating art with and crossing paths with this year,” Grande continued.
The “7 Rings” songstress, who met Slater, 31, on the set of “Wicked,” also said she currently feels “more human than ever.”
“i feel more deeply than ever. I feel softer and stronger, all at once,” Grande concluded.
Pvnew confirmed the singer’s relationship with the Broadway actor in July 2023.
At the time, she was separated from Gomez, and Slater had split from his now ex-wife, Lilly Jay.
An insider told us that Jay was “completely blindsided” when the “Spamalot” star filed for divorce in July.
Grande, for her part, filed for divorce from her husband in September 2023.
