He’s got the golden ticket.
Timothée Chalamet brought the sparkle to the Golden Globes 2024 on Sunday, wearing a shimmering black jacket at the 81st annual awards show in Los Angeles as he matched with girlfriend Kylie Jenner in all-black embellished looks.
The 28-year-old actor and 26-year-old “Kardashians” star looked chic in their coordinating outfits, with a tweet noting that the pair showed up “after the first commercial break.”
While Jenner skipped the red carpet, her boyfriend posed for photos in his Celine Homme sequined blazer and black trousers, wearing a black unbuttoned dress shirt underneath to show off an equally sparkly black-and-silver choker necklace.
As for the Kylie Cosmetics founder, she wore a backless black lace gown with long sleeves in photos posted on Twitter, adding 10-carat white diamond pear-shaped studs by Lorraine Schwartz and a matching 15-carat white diamond pear-shaped ring.
Chalamet is nominated for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy Film for his role in “Wonka,” portraying the candy man himself in a prequel origin story that left fans divided on the wacky film.
The actor has been making appearances around the world to promote the release of the movie, paying homage to Willy Wonka’s signature purple velvet coat numerous times, including with a fuchsia Tom Ford suit he sported sans shirt in London.
He also channeled the Oompa Loompa factory workers in Tokyo, sporting a lavender patent leather shirt and matching pant look by Prada, and put on a striking display in Paris, sparkling in a nearly nude beaded Tom Ford top.
As for Jenner, she has been secretly supporting her beau from behind the scenes as she was spotted sneaking into the Los Angeles premiere of the film last month.
Ever present on Timmy’s press tour has been a colorful Cartier choker he custom designed with the high jewelry brand to represent the fantastical candies dreamt up by Willy Wonka throughout the film, although he swapped it out for the aforementioned black piece at the Golden Globes on Sunday.
And the brand has a special connection to the Kylie Cosmetics founder as well, with the couple having been spotted wearing the same symbolic design from the brand that represents eternal love on multiple occasions.
The 2024 Golden Globes air Sunday, Jan. 7 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.
