Jennifer Lopez isn’t concerned about photos of husband Ben Affleck’s moody facial expressions constantly going viral.
“Ben is doing all right. You don’t need to worry about Ben, let me just tell you,” Lopez told Entertainment Tonight when asked about the interest in Affleck’s face while walking the red carpet at the 2024 Golden Globes on Sunday.
“He is good. He is happy. He is here, he is nominated.”
The “Let’s Get Loud” singer explained that Affleck, 51, has no clue why the public is so fascinated by his facade.
“He’s like, ‘I’m chilling. I don’t understand what people are so pressed for,'” Lopez said, noting with a laugh, “They don’t pick up on my face.”
J.Lo, 54, attended the star-studded evening to support the actor, who was nominated alongside pal Matt Damon for their movie “Air.”
While the co-stars didn’t take home any wins, they presented the award for Best Director in a Motion Picture to “Oppenheimer” director Christopher Nolan.
Earlier in the evening, Lopez gushed about how proud she was of the “Argo” actor and his close pal Damon, who was also nominated for a Best Actor trophy.
“I’m so glad to be here tonight because he’s nominated and I’m so proud of him and I love the movie,” Lopez told PvNew during her red carpet appearance prior to the award show.
“I really do think it was one of the best movies of the year so I’m happy for him and Matt, who are both nominated,” she added.
Lopez stunned in a Barbie-esque pink gown with a rosette cape by Nicole + Felicia Couture and was dripping in diamond jewelry by Maison Boucheron.
Since tying the knot in July 2022, Lopez and Affleck have continued to make headlines for their contrasting moods in paparazzi photos.
Last month, Affleck was spotted looking grumpy while out shopping with a more cheerful-looking Lopez and their respective moms. He was even seen texting while sharing a smooch with his wife.
Days later, the duo was seen getting into a heated conversation while vacationing together in St. Barts.
Along with several other paparazzi shots of Affleck looking downcast and forlorn, the “Good Will Hunting” actor also became notable for a 2020 clumsy moment involving his beloved Dunkin’ and since has partnered with the coffee brand to recreate the hilarious scene.
