Perhaps the pot is keeping her relaxed.
Gigi Hadid appeared unbothered in her first sighting since she was arrested in the Cayman Islands for marijuana possession.
The model, 28, was photographed arriving at JFK Airport in New York City on Monday and let a few smiles sneak out before she put on a more serious front.
For her flight, Hadid opted for high-waisted distressed jeans and an itty-bitty crop top, which she paired with red high-top Converse sneakers.
She also carried a blue-and-white plaid tote.
The Guest in Residence founder and her friend Leah Nicole McCarthy were both arrested on July 10 on suspicion of importation of ganja and importation of utensils used for the consumption of ganja, according to records obtained by Pvnew.
Both women were transported to the Prisoner Detention Center for processing and eventually released on bail. They appeared in Summary Court two days later to plead guilty.
They were both fined $1,000 and avoided a recorded conviction.
Hadid’s rep said the former Victoria’s Secret Angel had purchased the marijuana legally in NYC with a medical license.
“It has also been legal for medical use in Grand Cayman since 2017,” the statement added. “Her record remains clear, and she enjoyed the rest of her time on the island.”
