Tom Brady wanted to heat things up with Irina Shayk on the West Coast after the supermodel made it known she was into the newly single NFL champ, according to a new report.
Brady invited Shayk to “fly out and meet up in Los Angeles” this past weekend, a source told People Monday.
She resides full-time in New York City with her and Bradley Cooper’s 6-year-old daughter, Lea.
The special invitation comes after Brady and Shayk had been chatting for “a few weeks” and a “spark” grew between them, according to the insider.
However, it appears the Russian beauty may have been the one to make the first move.
Pvnew previously reported that she was heavily pursuing the retired NFL star at a billionaire pal’s wedding they both attended in May.
“She followed him around all weekend,” an insider told us at the time. “She was throwing herself at him.”
Sources added that Shayk “scarcely let [Brady] out of her sight.”
A separate source claimed at the time that the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback “wasn’t interested” in being anything more than friends with the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover model.
However, that feeling has seemingly changed in the past two months.
In photos obtained by Pvnew exclusively, Brady was seen caressing Shayk in his car Saturday after the two had a sleepover at a home in LA.
They seemed to enjoy each other’s company as they had big smiles on their faces.
A source confirmed to People that Brady, 45, and Shayk, 37, “spent the night Friday and Saturday at a house,” adding, “There is an attraction.”
It is unclear what caused Brady to have a change of heart. Pvnew has reached out to his and Shayk’s reps for comment.
While the father of three‘s romance with his new flame heats up, there are conflicting reports about how his ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen, really feels about it.
A source told us that the former Victoria’s Secret Angel, 43, was “seeing red” over the budding relationship, while another claimed, “She could not be happier for Tom — she wants him to be happy.”
Bündchen filed for divorce from Brady in October 2022 after 13 years of marriage. They share two kids together: Benjamin, 13, and Vivian, 10.
While Brady was fueling his fling with Shayk, Bündchen was celebrating her 43rd birthday on a “girls’ trip” with her daughter and twin sister, Patricia Bündchen.
Her rumored fling, hunky jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente, with whom she often travels, was not present.
