Britney Spears finally met Lance Bass’ twins, Violet and Alexander, a month after she allegedly flaked on their initial get-together.
“I’m a new auntie for Lance’s babies !!!” the “Stronger” singer wrote via Twitter Monday.
“They are absolutely gorgeous babies !!!”
The reunion post included two photos of Spears and her husband, Sam Asghari, hugging baby Violet while Bass held Alexander.
The *NSYNC alum and his husband, Michael Turchin, welcomed the twins via surrogate in October 2021.
For the happy reunion, Spears wore a red floral top with white jean shorts while Asghari, 29, paired a light blue jean jacket with a black T-shirt and olive green cargo pants.
Bass, 44, opted for a Hawaiian button-up with jeans.
While the meeting seemed to go off without a hitch, Bass previously claimed that their first attempt had failed.
Last month, Bass alleged during his iHeartRadio podcast, “Frosted Tips,” that Spears had “reached out through her people” with intentions to “meet the kids and all that.”
However, he claimed her team put a “stop” it.
“You have to talk through people,” he shared of communicating with the “Toxic” songstress, 41. “It’s very strange.”
In the 90s, Spears and Bass dominated the pop charts and toured together, which caused them to become close friends. Spears also famously dated Bass’ former bandmate, Justin Timberlake.
In fact, the two were so close that Bass quietly shared with Spears that he was gay before coming out to the public years later.
However, Bass told PageSix in May 2022 that their relationship shifted at some point during Spears’ now-terminated conservatorship.
The performer claimed that he had tried to reach out to Spears but wasn’t able to get in touch with the pop star.
“It’s just, you know, there’s a wall around her,” he said at the time.
“And for some reason, those people don’t want her old friends involved with her life.”
Bass’ remarks came after Spears’ controversial conservatorship ended in September 2021.
Since the pop star’s conservatorship has ended, it appears that their relationship may be blossoming once more.
