Todd Chrisley’s family wished him a happy birthday behind bars.
Although the “Chrisley Knows Best” alum, 54, is currently serving a 12-year prison sentence for bank fraud and tax evasion, three of his kids — Savannah Chrisley, Chase Chrisley and Lindsie Chrisley — celebrated his big day with tributes on Instagram.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!! I miss you more than you’ll ever know❤️,” Savannah captioned an old family photo.
“It’s been 80 days… 80 days since I last received a ‘goodnight my angel’ text or and ‘I love you more,'” she continued. “GEEZZZ how I miss them!!”
The 25-year-old also noted how hard the transition has also been for her mother, Julie Chrisley, who is currently serving out her seven-year sentence two-and-a-half hours away at a different prison.
“My parents have also been together almost 30 years… and in that 30 years never have they ever spent a birthday apart. So today… I’m imagining us all together in one bear hug circle!!” she concluded.
Chase also shared a carousel of photos with his dad, reassuring him that their family is taken care of in his absence.
“Words can’t describe how much i miss you, this will be the first birthday of yours and mine that we won’t be together but we are together in spirit,” the 26-year-old wrote. “I Love you and I’m beyond proud of the man, father and husband that you are!”
He continued, “We live in a broken world with a broken system but i have faith that we will be together soon! Until then i love you and we will hold it down! Happy Birthday Boss.”
Meanwhile, Lindsie kept things short and sweet by posting a throwback photo alongside a bible verse.
“Happy birthday to this man with the braided belt on. To know him is to love him,” Lindsie, whom Todd shares with ex-wife Teresa Terry, wrote on her Instagram Story.
She then added a bible verse from John 5:14, “‘This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us.'”
Todd started his prison sentence in January and apparently, he hasn’t had a hard time adjusting.
During Wednesday’s episode of The Southern Tea podcast, Lindsie, 33, revealed her dad has already made “great friends” behind bars.
“My last visit with my dad, I couldn’t stop telling him how great that he looked,” she said, noting that his hair is “a little bit longer and a little bit grayer.”
“His spirits are great,” she explained. “He is really just embracing the process there and making the best of the process there with the people that are also there serving time with him.”
