Jeremy Renner’s near-fatal snowplow accident was recreated in a harrowing animation that aired during his interview with Diane Sawyer Thursday.

The cartoon — made with the assistance of the “Hawkeye” star’s recollection of the events — shows in great detail how he was crushed by a 1988 PistenBully snowcat.

It depicts Renner inside the massive device as his nephew Alex Fries latches a vehicle onto it.

The men were attempting to move a tractor out of the driveway and onto the street.

They were able to move the truck, and so Renner at one point turned the snowplow around.

Sawyer, 77, said the action star, 52, was “worried” about his nephew because he could no longer see him, so he leaned out to look for him while the machine was still on, leaving “one foot on the cab and one foot on the rolling tracks” without the parking brake on.

“It’s kind of like driving a car with your foot outside of the car,” Renner said in the ABC interview. “But yeah … it is what it was, and it’s my mistake, and I paid for it.”

The “Hurt Locker” star lost his footing trying to look for Fries and fell off the side of the snowplow. He was afraid his nephew would get “sandwiched” between the machine and the tractor, so he tried to leap back into the device.

The animation then shows how Renner fell forward from the tracks and onto the ground as the snowplow proceeded to run him over.

“I was awake through every moment,” the “Avengers: Endgame” star recalled. “It’s exactly like you would imagine it would feel like. … I was on asphalt and ice — I wish I was on snow.

“It felt like someone took the wind out of you. Too many things are going on in the body to feel … pain is everything. It’s like if your soul could have pain.”

Fries was able to find a neighbor close by who called 911, and Renner was eventually airlifted out of the area and taken to a hospital.

The “Bourne Legacy” star recently revealed he broke more than 30 bones in the freak accident on New Year’s Day.

His rep also previously confirmed that the actor had suffered “blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries” and underwent multiple surgeries.

However, Renner’s recovery has been nothing short of inspiring. Just two months after nearly losing his life, he shared he was exercising again.

“Whatever it takes,” Renner captioned a video of himself on a stationary bike in February.

His Marvel co-star Evangeline Lilly recently praised him for how quickly he has healed.

She told “Access Hollywood” in February that she expected to “hold his hand” by his bedside as he “moaned and groaned in pain,” but instead she found him “wheeling himself around, laughing with his friends.”

Lilly, 43, concluded, “It’s a miracle, a straight-up miracle.”
