Cara Delevingne’s turning over a new leaf.
The now-sober supermodel chopped off her long locks recently, with celebrity hairstylist Riawna Capri showing off her chic new bob on Instagram this week.
“Best she’s ever looked,” one commenter wrote of Delevingne’s wavy, shoulder-skimming cut, while others dropped fire emojis and praised the star’s look as “gorgeous” and “stunning.”
The 30-year-old catwalker is going through major life changes at the moment, having opened up to Vogue last month about her substance abuse issues and new sobriety journey.
In the candid interview, the “only Murders In the Building” actress detailed her recent stay at a rehab facility, saying that seeing scary paparazzi photos of herself at an airport served as a “reality check” that she needed to seek help.
“At that point, there was a lot of people who were very worried, understandably so,” she said in a video for the magazine.
“I wasn’t really worried … but that is the nature of the disease.”
She added that after seeing the sobering photos, she realized she would either “end up dead” or doing something “really, really stupid” if she didn’t seek treatment.
As part of her “new beginnings,” Delevingne also said she’s planning to have her tattoos removed.
She told the magazine that when she started modeling at a young age, “you couldn’t get tattoos because it was part of your modeling contract, and they kind of owned your body,” so she tattooed a lion’s head on her finger in an act of rebellion — and then went on to add more ink.
Delevingne recently made stunning red carpet appearance at the SAG Awards and the Oscars, and fans will no doubt be treated to more stylish moments from the newly short-haired star as she continues her “fresh start.”
