Tony Romo can’t get his WAGs titles correct.
The former Dallas Cowboys quarterback accidentally called Taylor Swift Travis Kelce’s “wife” instead of “girlfriend” for the second time during the Kansas City Chiefs’ Christmas Day game against the Las Vegas Raiders.
ESPN posted a clip on Instagram of the mix-up, which shows the “Is It Over Now?” singer standing up to cheer for the tight end Monday afternoon.
As the camera panned to Kelce, Romo made his gaffe.
“His wife loves it — I mean, girlfriend,” he said.
“You’ve been down that road with that before,” play-by-play broadcaster Jim Nantz responded.
Romo, 43, made the same error during the Chiefs’ Dec. 10 game against the Buffalo Bills.
“As you see, Kelce’s wife, Taylor Swift, in the audience,” the CBS Sports analyst said in a clip from the game as the camera flashed from the athlete to the pop star.
Realizing his error, Romo quickly corrected himself, chuckling, “I’m sorry, girlfriend.”
“Not yet!” Nantz, 64, quipped in response.
Swift, 34, spent Christmas Day with her mom, dad and brother at Arrowhead Stadium to support her favorite new football team.
In honor of the holiday, the “Anti-Hero” singer sported a Santa Claus hat with Kelce’s jersey number, 87, embroidered on it.
The Raiders ultimately defeated the Chiefs 20-14, and the “You’re Losing Me” singer was seen comforting Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany Mahomes, who coordinated with Swift by also wearing a hat with her husband’s jersey number on it.
Swift and Brittany, 28, have grown extremely close since the Grammy winner started dating Kelce, 35, over the summer, even hitting the town together on multiple occasions.
Patrick, 28, said in an recent interview that it is “cool” his wife and Swift have “built a friendship.”
Last week, Pvnew exclusively revealed that Kelce and Swift would be in Kansas City, Mo., for New Year’s Eve because she will attend his home game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.
