Clare Crawley is expecting her first child with her husband, Ryan Dawkins, via surrogate.
The former “Bachelorette” made the announcement Wednesday in a video shared to her Instagram in which she and Dawkins hung up a baby onesie that read “Worth the Wait!” on a clothesline.
“Our laundry is about to get a whole lot cuter in 2024!!” she captioned the post.
“✨This TRULY is what my dreams are made of! I can’t tell you how hard it has been to hold this secret in, as I’ve shared the last 10 years of my life with you all!” Crawley, 42, continued.
“This is one journey though that Ryan and I have been keeping close to our hearts as we navigated the uncertain world of IVF and all that comes with it up until this point.”
Despite having kept their baby plans private, the reality star promised her fans that she would be open about her surrogacy journey from this point on.
“I can’t wait to share it all with you soon what it’s been like for us, and until then, we are so incredibly grateful to @eggwhisperer for making miracles happen! ✨,” she added, tagging fertility doctor Aimee Eyvazzadeh.
The former “Bachelor” contestant did not reveal the sex of the baby, who is due in January 2024.
Crawley and Dawkins, the CEO of Mascot Sports, got engaged in October 2022 before tying the knot in February.
Before her relationship with Dawkins, the former reality star — who also appeared on “Bachelor in Paradise” and “Bachelor Winter Games” — famously got engaged to Dale Moss, a contestant on her season of “The Bachelorette,” just a few weeks into the 2020 series.
The pair decided to leave the show together halfway through filming but broke up months later.
While the two went on to reconcile, they called it quits for good in September 2021.
Moss, 34, recently made it clear that he does not have any bad feelings toward his ex-fiancée.
“I think anytime someone finds love, that’s a goal to find that for every person,” he told Us Weekly after Crawley walked down the aisle.
“So, you know, there’s nothing but love and positive thoughts on this end.”
