“Real Housewives of New York City” star Ubah Hassan has actually been keeping her investment banker beau, Oliver Dachsel, a secret longer than fans expected.
Pvnew caught up with the model at the 2023 American Ballet Theatre Fall Gala at NYC’s Lincoln Center Tuesday night, where she revealed that they have been dating for “a while.”
Specifically, she said they have been dating for “over a year.”
For most of Season 14, Hassan presented herself as a single gal who was searching for Mr. Right. However, during the season finale, she let it slip to Sai De Silva that she had been secretly dating someone.
De Silva then divulged that information to Erin Lichy and Brynn Whitfield, with the latter confronting Hassan about her “Mr. Connecticut.” However, any other information about her mystery man remained exactly that — a mystery.
Despite their year of romance, Hassan declined to spill the tea on how serious the relationship is.
“We don’t want to make a comment,” she told us before Pvnew then turned to ask Dachsel if had already bought an engagement ring.
“Oh my God!” the model laughed before noting, “I like you for asking!”
According to insiders, the couple had a lovely evening, sitting next to each other at the afterparty and happily chatting with other guests. At one point, Hassan got up to dance with her co-stars and friends Whitfield and Jessel Taank.
Hassan’s revelations on their relationship came just hours after she and Dachsel made their first public appearance.
The enamored pair was not afraid to pack on the PDA as they held hands, grinned at each other and even stared at each other lovingly in front of cameras.
Just hours before the gala, the Daily Mail revealed Dachsel’s identity and reported that they attended the invite-only “RHONY” Season 14 premiere party together in July.
“They were together the whole night. It wasn’t like they were making out, but they never left each other’s side, they were very giggly and she seemed excited to be introducing him to people,” an eyewitness told the outlet.
“She was clearly very happy. Obviously, it was a private party, but I felt like she was comfortable having him there.”
Other celebs at the event included Katie Couric, Mick Jagger, who came along with his girlfriend, former American Ballet Theatre ballerina Melanie Hamrick, theater producer Jordan Roth, and Annette Bening.
It was also a family affair for “Gotham” star Morena Baccarin, who brought along her mom, and Molly Ringwald, who had daughter Mathilda Gianopoulos as her plus-one.
