Claire Danes and Hugh Dancy’s third baby is here!
Though it’s unclear when the infant arrived, the couple was photographed pushing their bundle of joy in a stroller around New York City on Monday.
For the leisurely outing, Danes sported a multicolored maxi dress, while her supportive husband paired a navy blue polo shirt with khaki shorts.
A rep for the couple told People the newborn is a girl, but did not reveal her name or birth date.
The “Evening” co-stars previously welcomed sons Cyrus, 10, and Rowan, 4, in December 2012 and August 2018, respectively.
Danes, 44, told “Entertainment Tonight” while debuting her baby bump at the 2023 Golden Globe Awards in January that getting pregnant a third time was “not so expected.”
“This was not intentional,” the “Homeland” alum went on to joke to “Access Hollywood” further down the red carpet, “but here we go.”
Danes subsequently poked fun at the “broad spectrum” of her kids’ ages, noting that she was “rolling the dice” and did not yet know the sex of baby No. 3.
While her oldest son, Cyrus, “was resigned to the idea” of another sibling, the “Fleishman Is in Trouble” star said her secondborn, Rowan, was “categorically opposed” in a “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” interview that same month.
“[He] has more to lose, he has more at stake,” she explained. “He said, ‘Yeah, no, no, no, I don’t like it. I like peace, Mama.’ I was like, ‘That’s rich.’ Because that dude does not shut up.”
The future big brother eventually became “a little more optimistic” because he liked “the idea of being a condescending presence” to an infant needing “assistance and some educating,” Danes added.
As for Dancy, he also addressed Cyrus and Rowan’s “mixed feelings” during a “Today” show appearance in January.
“They’re excited about our baby, [and] that’s good,” the actor, 48, said at the time, adding that his kids “drew the line” at helping with diapers.
Dancy and the Golden Globe winner have been together since 2006. The “Law & Order” star got down on one knee in 2009, marrying Danes in France later that same year.
