Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, has reportedly been the victim of burglary – with the alleged thieves taking off with more than $1 million in stolen cash and jewelry.
Law enforcement told TMZ Sunday that an entire safe holding the valuables was reported missing from her Los Angeles-area estate.
The break-in was discovered Wednesday morning, per the outlet, when someone from Knowles’ team stopped by the home and claimed the safe was gone.
According to TMZ, Knowles, 69, was out of town when the alleged incident took place.
Police are currently investigating and talking to neighbors for any leads.
While it’s unclear exactly where Knowles was at the time, she shared video footage Sunday from her oldest daughter’s “Renaissance” world tour stop in Toronto.
“Love this Camouflage Ivy Park @ivypark fit worn last night on the Toronto Show,” she posted on Instagram. “[In] love with all of the designs! @beyonce Renasancecworld [sic] Tour!”
The burglary report comes just months after cops arrested a man at Knowles’ home for causing a disturbance and damaging property.
TMZ reported authorities received a call back in April about someone throwing rocks at her mailbox.
According to the outlet, the suspect was allegedly behaving erratically and placed on a 5150 psychiatric hold.
Knowles declined to press charges or file a police report at the time. Pvnew has reached out to her rep for comment.
