Welcome to the Pitt lane.
Brad Pitt was having the “time of [his] life” filming the upcoming Formula 1 movie alongside the professional drivers at the British Grand Prix.
The actor, 59, lined up alongside world champions Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen before the race Sunday, while filming scenes with his co-star Damson Idris.
The pair, who play drivers Sonny Hayes and Joshua Pearce in the Joe Kosinski-directed flick, wore custom black and white race suits for the fictional team “APXGP.”
“Brad Pitt is ageless,” one fan tweeted when the actor was shown on the broadcast, while hundreds of others said they were looking forward to the movie’s release.
The Oscar winner told Sky Sports he was feeling “a little giddy” before walking out on the starting grid.
“I’ve got to say, it’s great to be here. Having such a laugh, time of my life,” he said.
Pitt also divulged some plot details about the untitled Apple film, which is being produced by “Top Gun: Maverick” heavyweight Jerry Bruckheimer.
“I would be a guy who raced in the ’90s. He has a horrible crash, kind of craps out and disappears, and then is racing in other disciplines,” he explained.
“And then his friend, played by Javier Bardem, is a team owner. They’re a last place team, they’re 21 or 22 on the grid, they’ve never scored a point. And they have a young phenom, played by Damson Idris, and he brings me in as kind of a hail mary. And hijinks ensue.”
The movie’s fictional team had a high-profile presence in the paddock and pitlane at the British Grand Prix, with “APXGP” even getting its own garage area between Mercedes and Ferrari.
Pitt, along with two stunt drivers, were also seen driving the film’s modified Formula 2 cars around the Silverstone circuit throughout the weekend.
“I’ll tell you what’s amazing about it. You see the cameras mounted all over the car. You’ve never seen speed, you’ve never seen G-force like this. It’s really, really exciting,” the actor said.
Seven-time world champion Hamilton, who is also a producer on the film, revealed Pitt and Kosinski joined the pre-race driver’s meeting and calling the moment “probably the best drivers’ briefing we’ve ever had.”
However, Pitt wasn’t the only celebrity spotted at the track.
Cara Delevigne, Florence Pugh, Liam Payne and Hamilton’s rumored flame Shakira were all on hand to watch Verstappen clinch his eighth victory of the 2023 season.
