Sisters Ericka Hamilton and Misha Wilson of Missouri jewelry brand Erimish are all too happy to “make the friendship bracelets” for Taylor Swift.
Sales are soaring after the pop superstar was spotted wearing a custom beaded style that spelled out “Trav” while cuddling up to boyfriend Travis Kelce at the Kansas City Chiefs’ holiday party — the second Erimish bracelet she’s sported in recent weeks.
“We have definitely gotten a whole new following [and] customer from this for sure,” Wilson tells Pvnew Style.
A peek at the brand’s website confirms it’s welcomed a slew of Swifties lately, with the songstress’ Trav Custom Bracelet ($21) listed as the first featured item and the Number + Heart Custom Bracelet ($21) — Swift’s wore one adorned with Kelce’s jersey number, 87 — as the second.
But seeing as Swift’s been spending plenty of time in the Chiefs suite, it was practically inevitable she’d become an Erimish fan. The company’s a longtime favorite of both the Kelce and Mahomes families, and in fact, it was quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ mother who first surprised Swift with a few bracelets from the brand.
“We had sent some things to the Kelce family before last year’s Super Bowl and we also sent some to Randi Mahomes, and she gifted them to Taylor after a game,” Wilson says, coyly adding, “We are unsure if the Kelce family has gifted her any.”
Regardless, it’s pretty safe to say we’ll soon see Swift in more of the colorful baubles; Wilson says the brand “sent [her] a stack with several different styles,” including ones that’s haven’t seen the light of a Jumbotron just yet.
And while Swifties can place orders for the exact gold-beaded styles seen on their idol, Erimish has also rolled out a series of other designs inspired by the musician’s past albums and style eras; the Swiftie KC Set ($22) featuring Chiefs colors is already sold out.
It’s fitting that Swift would use friendship bracelets to telegraph her connection to Kelce, considering how the tight end initially used one to try and catch the Grammy winner’s attention at an Eras Tour show in July.
“I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it,” Travis told his brother, Jason, on an episode of the duo’s “New Heights” podcast at the time, adding that he was “a little butthurt” when his plan went awry.
“She doesn’t meet anybody — or at least she didn’t want to meet me. So, I took it personal,” he recalled.
But “all’s well that ends well to end up with you,” to quote Swift’s track “Lover”; the pair linked up soon after Kelce’s fumble and have seemingly been inseparable ever since.
“We love them both and just hope that they truly find love with each other,” Wilson tells us of the couple.
