We’re in a “Lavender Haze” over this star’s new look.
Oprah Winfrey looked chic in yet another all-purple outfit as she continued to promote “The Color Purple” in New York on Thursday, showing off her trim physique after coming clean about using a weight-loss drug earlier this week.
The 69-year-old media mogul wore a pair of wide-legged lavender trousers with a coordinating cropped jacket, wearing a satiny top in the same shade underneath.
Winfrey covered up in a brighter purple coat, opening it up to reveal her toned body as cameras flashed.
The former talk show host — who serves as a producer for the 2023 adaptation of “The Color Purple” — wore her hair in a curly, half-up style, toting a matching lavender purse and her signature round glasses as she headed out for the night in NYC.
On Wednesday, Oprah admitted she had some help in her weight-loss journey, telling People she’d been using a prescription drug, although she didn’t specify if it was celeb-fave Ozempic.
“The fact that there’s a medically approved prescription for managing weight and staying healthier, in my lifetime, feels like relief, like redemption, like a gift, and not something to hide behind and once again be ridiculed for,” she said.
Although Winfrey previously called drugs like Ozempic “the easy way out,” the “Beloved” actress told People that she had a change of heart after taking part in a panel with experts in the medical industry this summer.
“I’m absolutely done with the shaming from other people and particularly myself,” the “Oprah Daily” founder added.
The star has certainly been having fun showing off her trim figure, rocking a variety of purple ‘fits for the “Color Purple” press tour including everything from a custom Dolce & Gabbana evening gown to a Stella McCartney set that revealed a hint of tummy.
She also rocked the ultimate high-low look, wearing a sequin-covered Oscar de la Renta coat ($11,990 $5,995) with a pair of $89 rhinestone-covered Betsey Johnson sneakers while lighting up the Empire State Building purple.
With another 10 days until “The Color Purple” hits theaters, we have a feeling Winfrey will be rocking plenty more lavender looks.
