Political figures, music icons and reality TV royalty were invited to join the Biden administration for an ultra-private and luxe holiday party at the White House Thursday evening, Pvnew has learned.
A source tells Pvnew exclusively that the festive fête was thrown for political leaders and friends of the administration.
“Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum Nene Leakes was seen rubbing shoulders with gun safety activists, posing for a photo-op inside the President’s home in a stunning red ensemble and jacket with a fur trim.
We’re told the former Bravolebrity was joined by her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Nyonisela Sioh, with whom she appears to have recently rekindled her romance.
“She was her jovial self,” a source says.
We’re also told that hip-hop legends E-40 and Yo Gotti were also present, the latter of whom brought his girlfriend Angela Simmons.
Rev Run’s daughter, 36, shared a few snaps from her Washington, DC, outing on Instagram, which revealed she opted for a demure black dress and head cover-up for the party. She adorned the look, though, with a bold red lip.
“There were secret servicemen who took a moment to express how big of fans they are of Gotti and E-40, and thanked them for creating ‘the soundtrack of their lives,'” an insider dishes.
“[It was surprising] to see them briefly break character since they’re usually so serious.”
Renowned attorney Benjamin Crump, who famously represented George Floyd’s family, was also seen having a good time, per a picture he took with E-40 that was obtained by Pvnew.
We’re told Latin music producer Emilio Estefan was also one of the party’s notable guests, but he attended the gathering without his famous wife, Gloria Estefan.
The Cuban-American music executive, 70, was “shaking hands and networking with political officials,” a source tells us.
President Joe Biden briefly stepped out to give a speech to partygoers and wish them “happy holidays.”
“[The speech] was about closing out the year strong and picking up new momentum heading into 2024,” a source tells us, noting that POTUS did take a moment to remark how the “other side” — meaning Republicans — are trying to stop their momentum, but “we can’t let them.”
He then exited the party shortly after to return to business as usual. First Lady Jill Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris were not in attendance, as they reportedly had scheduling conflicts.
We’re told guests avoided diving into too much political chatter as the ambiance lent itself to a more uplifting mood, as different rooms in the White House were decorated with holiday ornaments.
According to video and photos shared with Pvnew, a train of reindeer appeared above partygoers near the ceiling, wine, champagne and food were served, and live bands played an array of Christmas carols.
The holiday celebration comes amid a difficult time for the President, though. A day before the party, House lawmakers voted to launch an impeachment inquiry into him and he also recently faced scrutiny for his son Hunter Biden’s tax fraud case.
Earlier this week, POTUS captioned a photo of him and the First Lady, 72, standing in front of a Christmas tree via Instagram, “May this holiday season bring you magic, wonder, and joy.”
