Taylor Swift’s relationship status with recent ex-boyfriend Matty Healy is unclear amid rumors they’ve rekindled their romance.
While one source claims the two are back on, Pvnew is told it’s “all BS.”
“There is just something electric between them, and they seem to have overcome it all quite quickly,” an alleged pal of the pair told The Sun UK on Wednesday, claiming the musicians “decided they definitely want to make it work at all costs.”
The insider added that Swift and Healy — who broke up in June after just one month of dating — are “arranging time together in between tour dates and talking all the time.”
According to the source, the 1975 frontman is “utterly smitten” — a feeling that’s apparently “mutual.”
The purported friend went on to point to one “very telling” sign of Healy’s alleged commitment to winning the Grammy winner back, claiming he recently fired a female crew member from the band’s tour group.
“It sounds as though there may have been a bit of an issue over her closeness to Matty,” the insider claimed, adding that Healy “isn’t letting anything come between his chances of making it work with Taylor.”
However, another source tells us the former flames are “absolutely not together and aren’t even in contact anymore.”
Our insider insists Swift, 33, “is enjoying being single and has been spending time in the studio and hanging out with friends in New York City.”
A second informant echoes the sentiment, telling us any speculation of a reconciliation is “complete nonsense.”
Pvnew confirmed early last month that the “Anti-Hero” hitmaker and Healy, 34, had called it quits on their whirlwind romance, with a source telling Entertainment Tonight that their “extremely busy” schedules and incompatibility were the reasons.
For all of May, the duo was inseparable. However, after diehard “Swiftie” fans got wind of Healy’s controversial past, they launched a #SpeakUpNow campaign and asked the pop superstar to denounce the British rocker’s offensive behavior.
Swift never addressed the open letter, and she was back on the market shortly after.
